Memorial: Immediate Past Department Commander Ed Grimsley

As many of you may or may not know, Immediate Past Department of California Commander Ed Grimsley has unfortunately transferred to Post Everlasting. Commander Grimsley was one of a kind. He mentored the American Legion experience for many. He influenced the lives of many more. He fed countless Legionnaires and people in need. He did it all with a smile, while throwing out his Southern quips.

On Tuesday, October 5th, Hollywood Post 43 will host a brief memorial for Commander Grimsley, following the short induction meeting of new members. The induction meeting will start at 7:00pm, followed by time devoted to the memory of Commander Grimsley.
