Post 43 Family Cleans Up The House

On Sunday, July 30th, members of the Legion Family of Post 43 gathered together to put in a day of hard work and service at the Post’s clubhouse on Highland Avenue.

With the nearly-hundred-year-old building in constant need of maintenance and the Post facing budget shortfalls in light of the Hollywood industry strikes, members are stepping up to fill in the gaps.

Members of the Post gathered alongside members of the elected Executive Commitee early in the morning and began extensive cleanup in the depths of the Post, even unearthing some of its long-hidden secret passages.

These members volunteered time out of their busy schedules to get their hands extremely dirty in order to help clean up the clubhouse, and exemplify the spirit of mutual helpfulness the Legion calls for.
