Library of Congress AAPI Veteran Oral History Event

Rep. Lieu is co-sponsoring the Library of Congress AAPI Veteran Oral History Event on Friday, May 19 and Saturday, May 20 at Santa Monica Library. (There are also dates the this week in Downtown Los Angeles and Alhambra.)

The Library of Congress is still looking for AAPI veterans to interview for the Veteran History Project.  Two flyers attached discuss the Santa Monica event and how to veterans can sign up.

Also, they are still looking for volunteers to help manage the day, escort the veterans, and do interviews.  A third flyer talks about the need for volunteers and the various tasks and how to sign up.  There is training provided in advance and on the day of.

We are so fortunate that the Library of Congress has traveled to our area to include California veterans in this project.  We would be grateful if you could get the word out.
