Hollywood Post 43 of the American Legion is proud to announce the screening and awards ceremony of our 2022 Member Made Media Competition, (MMMC) this Friday, March 25, 2022. There will be a reception for the contestants and guests starting at 6:00 PM, with the Screening starting at 7:30 PM in the renowned Hollywood Legion Theater.
Post 43, known as the “Post of the Stars”, is a veterans service organization and has been part of the Hollywood community since 1919. Many of our members work in the entertainment industry and throughout the years have held just about every position in Hollywood from executive producer to the newest production assistant, and all the crafts and services.
As part of our commitment to our members, The Media & Communications Committee of Post 43 created the MMMC in order to facilitate opportunities for the Legion family to work together in teams to create portfolio worthy pieces that can be used to gain employment.
Three teams of Legion Family, including Legionnaires, Sons of the Legion, Auxiliary members, and friends, have worked tirelessly to bring their scripted short films over the finish line to be screened in the Hollywood Legion Theater.
