15 Teams vying for 5 spots in the Veteran-Made Film Competition

The submission deadline for the Veteran-Made Film Competition has passed and 15 teams have submitted their projects for consideration. The judges are now in the process of determining the 5 teams who will move forward in the competition.

The announcement of the teams moving forward will be on December 15, 2022. Those teams will then have until March 12, 2023, to finish and turn in their projects. If they choose, they have the option to schedule a shoot day at the historic Post 43 clubhouse between Jan 3, 2023, and Feb. 28, 2023. The completed short films will be screened in the famous Hollywood Legion Theater on April 1, 2023, followed by the Awards Ceremony.

Anyone interested in participating in the competition, on one of those teams, can list their availability on the VMFC Crew Database. The database is located on the VeteranMadeFilmCompetition.org website or you can visit directly on the following link:

With the database, you can list your skills, provide links to your portfolio, upload photos or videos, and communicate with others on the site.
