Post 43, Loews Hotel Help Hollywood Homeless

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. -- With a sense of community and a desire to help, members of American Legion Hollywood Post 43 hit the streets of Hollywood to distribute 200 fresh, vegan burritos, personal hygiene kits and items like socks and belts to area homeless. Loews Hollywood Hotel provided the food, facilities, and more volunteers. 

Volunteers pounded the pavement and carried the burrito payload down into the heart of Hollywood in hot/cold bags provided by the post. 

Ringleader, Andy Fierro organized the whole endeavor with generous assistance from Loews Hollywood Hotel and our volunteers. The Burrito Project LA is a monthly grassroots community effort to create a sense of personal involvement in the communities we live.
